After a long wait for this band to have a concert here in the Philippines, Paramore did a one night concert last March 9, 2010 at around 8:30 pm in Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Fans were gathered at the venue ahead of the said concert time to find a good place and much better view. Teens, teens at heart and everyone who loves the music of Paramore were there to witness this once in a lifetime concert and jam packed performance of the band.

Before the Paramore hit the stage, Calla Lily performed first. They served as a front act for the concert. I must say that they’re good and they did a great job. They sang they’re popular songs like Stars, Susundan and people love to sing along with them.

And then it was Paramore. Hayley Williams wore a Nike Blazer, Leopard Pants and a Thrilla in Manila Shirt. She really rocks that night and I’m amazed on how good this girl on stage. Paramore sang 10 or 13 songs I’m not sure the exact number and all of it were their hit songs. Hayley was so happy especially when the crowd were singing along with her.

The concert was awesome, although it just took only one and a half hour, such a short time but I got to say that it was a strong hour, never a low power. Hayley gave an equal energy in each of every song. This girl got a lung power behind her small and petite body. She’s all over the stage, jumping, running, bumping, screaming and still gave a same level of energy in every performance.

Some of their songs that they performed on the concert were That’s what you get, Ignorance, Decode, Only Exception and the last song was Brick by Boring Brick. I watched the concert by myself and even though I was alone I really enjoyed it. No disappointment at all and it was one of my experiences that I’ll never forget. The concert was a huge success and Paramore concert was one of the best concerts I’ve ever watched.

Music Fest 2010, A Blast

February 7, 2010

I’m really happy that I witnessed such a powerhouse show and amazing concert. Music Fest happened yesterday February 6, 2010 at Mckinley Hills Taguig. Such an amazing acts were showed. From the acoustic heartthrobs Boyce Avenue, to the America’s Best Dance Crew Champion Jabbawockeez up to the American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen. I really can’t stop myself in screaming especially when the Boyce Avenue sang their version of bleeding love of Leona Lewis mixed with apologize by One Republic. Of course, my boys Jabbawockeez gave a heart stopping performance through their new and old dance routine. And Kris Allen, who will not be fall in love to his voice and charisma. I really love all his songs and no doubt that he’s really good.

The concert was a blast and really a big success. Congratulations to all the sponsors, Fearless Productions, Channel V, MMI and etc. We really enjoyed the concert eventhough I got home so late it’s so worth and very memorable. I hope they produce many concerts like this. Congratulations and i’m looking forward for the next concert.

Our Christmas Gathering

December 23, 2009

Christmas is so important to me because this is the time for parties, reunions and gatherings. The only time that we see our good friends and be together again. Yearly we always do this with my close friends way back in highschool and college. And even though some of us have work and already have own family that’s not a hindrance for us to have a gathering or a mini reunion. It’s nice to see them again, laugh with them and talk with them again. It’s so sad that one of us is in Dubai right now so for 2 consecutive years she’s not with us. But she’s still in our hearts and we really miss her. I love my friends very much. Friends Forever.

I’m Turning 25

December 5, 2009

The day goes by so very fast. I just remembered my birthday party when I was seven. I’ll never forget the times when I’m entering the teenage life. My unforgettable debut party, my graduation and now I’m turning 25. Yes, I’ll be 25 years old this coming December 9, 2009. I can say that in my 25 years in this world, I already experienced many things, except for having a boyfriend. Can you imagine that, I’m a member of “NBSB” (No Boyfriend Since Birth”). But that’s okay with me, thinking that I have my family by my side I will not be alone. They are my priority and the important thing in my life. Being 25 is not a big deal for me, I’m still the same person that I used to be. I still love Hello Kitty, I idolize Taylor Swift and David Archuleta and I always want to see the Jabbawockeez dance. I can’t take away the child within me, honestly I still love watching cartoons and anime. They said that only age become older, being look old is your choice and I believe that. I have long way to go. In my next 25 years I want to accomplish many things. I want to travel to the beautiful places in the Philippines and outside the country. I always like to be a volunteer in an organization that helps people and that will be my plan for the years to come. I thank God for giving me this wonderful 25 years of my life, for guiding me throughout and I know that I still have a mission to do.
