Music Fest 2010, A Blast

I’m really happy that I witnessed such a powerhouse show and amazing concert. Music Fest happened yesterday February 6, 2010 at Mckinley Hills Taguig. Such an amazing acts were showed. From the acoustic heartthrobs Boyce Avenue, to the America’s Best Dance Crew Champion Jabbawockeez up to the American Idol Season 8 winner Kris Allen. I really can’t stop myself in screaming especially when the Boyce Avenue sang their version of bleeding love of Leona Lewis mixed with apologize by One Republic. Of course, my boys Jabbawockeez gave a heart stopping performance through their new and old dance routine. And Kris Allen, who will not be fall in love to his voice and charisma. I really love all his songs and no doubt that he’s really good.
The concert was a blast and really a big success. Congratulations to all the sponsors, Fearless Productions, Channel V, MMI and etc. We really enjoyed the concert eventhough I got home so late it’s so worth and very memorable. I hope they produce many concerts like this. Congratulations and i’m looking forward for the next concert.

Kris Allen, signed a deal with 19 Entertainment and Jive Records
Kris Allen, American Idol Season 8 winner already has a deal with 19 Entertainment and will also release a debut album through Jive Records this fall.

“Kris Allen is, without a doubt, the American Idol” Fox and FremantleMedia said.
Over a 100 million votes came in and Kris Allen won by undisclosed margin over Adam Lambert. But they don’t mention the number of votes of Kris and Adam. Since season 1 American Idol was announcing the total votes but did not mention how those votes were divided.
AT&T, the country’s largest telecommunications company, is the main sponsor of the show. Anyone in the United States could vote through phones, but only AT&T customers were allowed to text.
Some AT&T employees brought 20 demo phones to “American Idol” viewing parties in Arkansas which is Allen’s place and helped fans text their votes. Two of those phones were capable of sending multiple votes by so-called “power texting,” but A.I. prohibits “power voting” by text or phone. The company said that those actions did not affect the outcome. AT&T said that they brought a small number of demo phones for texting tutorials to those who were interested.
“Going forward, we will make sure our employees understand our sponsorship celebrates the competition, not individual contestants. That said, it’s quite a leap to suggest that a few individuals could have impacted the final results,” the company said.
For Adam Lambert, losing was a possibility; he knew that Kris had just as much of a chance as he did. Adam didn’t know the results of the final vote but he was suspicious on Gokey’s follower. There’s a possibility that the fans of Gokey chose to vote for the more conservative Kris Allen.

Kris Allen won the American Idol season 8 over Adam Lambert. Over a record breaking 100 million votes came in and America’s just spoken that Kris deserved to be the American Idol. Although Adam Lambert was the front runner on the past weeks and always judge’s favorite, still, the charm of this boy next door rules. Kris Allen was considered as an underdog to the competition but he proved that he deserves for an American Idol title. Adam Lambert did a great job too but maybe he’s style was not appreciated by some people, unlike Kris Allen’s versatility. He plays piano and guitar and he’s good in interpreting songs.

His first single was “No Boundaries” which was composed by Idol judge Kara Dioguardi. This song suits to the soulful voice of Kris Allen and the arrangement was the best!
For me, the content of the song was about reaching your dreams. Even there’s a lot of hindrance and barriers in reaching it, don’t lose hope and you will succeed. There are no boundaries in dreaming and there are no boundaries of achieving it.
I’m sure that this song will hit the billboards and will play all over the radios. I can’t wait for Kris’s album. But to Kris, again, congratulations! He did a great job for the whole season of American Idol Season 8!
